Brand Editor: colors, fonts, and style

The Brand Editor is where you control the overall look and feel of your website.

From here, you can adjust colors, fonts, button styles, spacing, corners, logo-related settings, and the general visual identity of the website.

When to use the Brand Editor

Use the Brand Editor when you want to:

  • make the website match your brand,
  • change the main colors,
  • choose a different font,
  • make buttons more modern or premium,
  • keep a consistent style across all pages,
  • improve the website before publishing,
  • make the site look more professional.

What the Brand Editor affects

Brand settings can affect many parts of the website, such as:

  • colors,
  • typography,
  • buttons,
  • backgrounds,
  • section styling,
  • logo appearance,
  • spacing,
  • rounded corners,
  • overall visual style.

Instead of changing every section separately, the Brand Editor helps you keep one consistent style across the website.

Step 1 — Open the Brand Editor

Open the Centuply app, select your website, and open Brand or Brand Editor.

You will see the available appearance settings.

Step 2 — Review the current brand

Before making changes, look at how the website feels now.

Ask:

  • Do the colors match the business?
  • Is the font easy to read?
  • Are the buttons clear enough?
  • Does the website feel premium or unfinished?
  • Is the style consistent across pages?

Step 3 — Choose main colors

Colors strongly affect the first impression.

Usually, you need:

  • primary color,
  • secondary color,
  • background color,
  • text color,
  • accent color.

For example:

  • a clinic may need clean and trustworthy colors,
  • a salon may use more premium or lifestyle colors,
  • a restaurant may use warmer colors,
  • a freelancer may prefer a minimal and serious style.

Step 4 — Choose fonts

The font should be readable and match the brand style.

Check that it:

  • reads well on mobile,
  • does not feel too playful if the brand is serious,
  • is not overly complex,
  • fits the business category.

Step 5 — Adjust buttons

Buttons are important because they guide visitors to take action.

Examples of actions:

  • Book an appointment,
  • Contact us,
  • View services,
  • Request a quote,
  • Buy now.

In the Brand Editor, you can adjust button style so buttons feel clearer, more premium, or more prominent.

Step 6 — Check logo and identity

If you have a logo, check how it appears in the header and other areas.

Make sure it:

  • is not too small,
  • is not blurry,
  • has enough contrast with the background,
  • matches the website colors.

If you do not have a logo, you can temporarily use clean text branding or create a logo with Logo Studio.

Step 7 — Use presets carefully

If brand presets are available, you can use them as a quick starting point.

Before keeping a preset, check:

  • whether it fits the industry,
  • whether it looks professional,
  • whether the contrast is good,
  • whether pages remain readable,
  • whether the mobile view is clean.

Step 8 — Check all main pages

After brand changes, check not only the homepage but also:

  • Services,
  • About,
  • Contact,
  • Blog,
  • Forms,
  • Booking,
  • legal pages.

A brand should feel consistent everywhere.

Step 9 — Save changes

When you are happy with the result, save your changes.

If the website is live, publish when you are ready for the changes to appear online.

Best practices

  • Do not use too many different colors.
  • Keep strong contrast between text and background.
  • Prefer clean fonts.
  • Make CTA buttons stand out.
  • Always check mobile view.
  • Keep the style consistent across all pages.
  • Do not change the brand every day without a clear reason.
