Visual Editor basics

The Visual Editor is the main place where you edit your website after it has been created with AI.

Inside the editor, you can change text, images, sections, colors, layout, and basic page elements without writing code.

When to use the Visual Editor

Use the Visual Editor when you want to:

  • change headlines and text,
  • add or remove sections,
  • change images,
  • review the appearance of your website,
  • see how the site looks on desktop and mobile,
  • make small improvements before publishing,
  • review changes suggested by the AI Assistant.

Step 1 — Open your website

Open the Centuply app and select the website you want to edit.

From the dashboard or Site Cockpit, click Edit or Open Editor.

Step 2 — Understand the basic layout

The Visual Editor usually has a few main areas:

  • Preview area: shows the page as visitors will see it.
  • Sidebar: contains tools for sections, design, layout, history, and AI.
  • Inspector: lets you change properties of the selected section or element.
  • Top toolbar: includes preview, publish, save, or navigation options.

The exact layout may vary depending on screen size and the mode you are using.

Step 3 — Select a section

Click a section on the page, such as:

  • Header
  • Hero
  • Services
  • About
  • Gallery
  • Testimonials
  • Contact
  • Footer

When you select a section, the editor shows the available options for that specific part of the page.

Step 4 — Edit text

To edit text, select the section or element that contains it.

You can change:

  • headline,
  • subtitle,
  • paragraph,
  • button text,
  • labels,
  • small helper text.

Before saving, read the result like a visitor. The text should be clear, short, and useful.

Step 5 — Change images

If a section supports an image, you can change it from the editor options or from the Media Library.

Use images that:

  • clearly show the business,
  • match the style of the website,
  • are not blurry,
  • look good on mobile,
  • are not too heavy.

Step 6 — Add or change sections

From the sections panel, you can add new sections to the page.

Examples of sections:

  • Services
  • Pricing
  • Gallery
  • Testimonials
  • FAQ
  • CTA Banner
  • Contact
  • Map

Only add sections that help visitors understand the business or take action, such as contacting, booking, or buying.

Step 7 — Use the AI Assistant

If you are not sure how to improve a section, use the AI Assistant.

Example prompts:

Make the hero more premium.

Make the text shorter.

Suggest a better CTA.

Make this section more suitable for bookings.

The Assistant shows a preview before you apply changes.

Step 8 — Check desktop and mobile

Before publishing, check how the page looks on different screen sizes.

Pay attention to:

  • whether headlines fit correctly,
  • whether buttons are clear,
  • whether images are cropped strangely,
  • whether sections have good spacing,
  • whether the page is easy to read on mobile.

Step 9 — Save your changes

When you finish editing, save your changes.

If the site is not ready to publish, keep it as a draft and continue later.

If it is ready, continue to the publish flow.

Best practices

  • Do not change too many things at once.
  • Make small changes and review the preview.
  • Keep copy short.
  • Use clear images.
  • Do not overload the page with too many sections.
  • Always check the mobile view.
  • Use the AI Assistant for suggestions, but keep final control.
