Bookings Manager: appointments and availability

Bookings Manager helps you receive appointment requests or bookings through your website.

It is useful for businesses that work with appointments, such as salons, clinics, studios, consultants, trainers, technicians, and professional services.

When to use Bookings Manager

Use Bookings Manager when you want to:

  • receive appointment requests,
  • show available services,
  • set availability hours,
  • connect booking CTAs to a form or calendar,
  • organize bookings,
  • reduce phone questions,
  • make customer contact easier.

What to decide before starting

Before configuring booking, think about:

  • which services can be booked online,
  • how long each service takes,
  • which days you work,
  • which hours are available,
  • whether confirmation is needed before the appointment is final,
  • whether you need customer email or phone,
  • whether there are cancellations or special rules.

Step 1 — Open Bookings Manager

Open the Centuply app, select your website, and open Bookings, Appointments, or Bookings Manager.

There you will see settings for services, hours, and booking flow.

Step 2 — Enable booking

If booking is disabled, enable it from the relevant option.

After enabling it, check whether a booking CTA appears on the website or whether you need to add one to a section.

Step 3 — Add services

Add the services that can be booked.

Examples:

  • Haircut,
  • Hair color,
  • Consultation,
  • Medical appointment,
  • Trial lesson,
  • Technical visit,
  • Quote request.

For each service, add a clear name and a short description.

Step 4 — Set service duration

If the system supports duration, set how long each service takes.

Examples:

  • 30 minutes,
  • 45 minutes,
  • 60 minutes,
  • 90 minutes.

The correct duration helps avoid overlaps or wrong expectations.

Step 5 — Set availability

Configure the days and hours when you can accept appointments.

Example:

  • Monday to Friday,
  • 10:00 - 18:00,
  • Saturday 10:00 - 14:00,
  • Sunday closed.

If there are breaks, holidays, or special hours, add them where supported.

Step 6 — Configure customer details

Booking should request the details you need in order to respond.

Usually, you need:

  • name,
  • email,
  • phone,
  • service,
  • preferred day or time,
  • message or notes.

Do not ask for more information than necessary.

Step 7 — Configure confirmation

Depending on the business, booking may be:

  • instant booking,
  • appointment request that needs confirmation,
  • interest form,
  • redirect to an external booking tool.

If human confirmation is needed, explain it clearly to the visitor.

Example:

Your request is not a final booking. We will contact you to confirm availability.

Step 8 — Add booking CTA to the website

Make sure visitors can find booking easily.

Places where a CTA can appear:

  • Hero section,
  • Services section,
  • Contact page,
  • sticky button,
  • chatbot quick action,
  • footer,
  • CTA Banner.

CTA examples:

  • Book an appointment,
  • Request availability,
  • Make a booking,
  • Book now,
  • Request appointment.

Step 9 — Test the booking flow

Before publishing, test like a real customer.

Check:

  • whether the CTA opens correctly,
  • whether services appear correctly,
  • whether availability is correct,
  • whether fields work,
  • whether a confirmation message appears,
  • whether you receive a notification,
  • whether the lead or booking is saved,
  • whether it works on mobile.

Step 10 — Check the live website

After publishing, open the live website and test the booking flow again.

Do not rely only on preview. Live testing is essential.

Best practices

  • Keep services clear and simple.
  • Do not show hours you cannot serve.
  • Clearly explain whether appointments need confirmation.
  • Ask only for necessary details.
  • Test booking on mobile.
  • Check email notifications.
  • Place booking CTAs in visible areas.
  • Do not leave wrong or old opening hours.
