Edit text and images

Editing text and images is one of the most common tasks you will do in Centuply.

You can update headlines, descriptions, buttons, photos, and basic content without writing code.

When to use this guide

Use this guide when you want to:

  • correct text,
  • change a headline or subtitle,
  • improve service descriptions,
  • change button text,
  • upload your own images,
  • replace an image that does not fit,
  • make the website more personal and closer to your business.

Step 1 — Open the Visual Editor

Open the Centuply app, select your website, and click Edit or Open Editor.

The Visual Editor opens your website in preview mode so you can see what you are changing.

Step 2 — Select the section you want

Click the section you want to edit.

Examples:

  • Hero
  • Services
  • About
  • Gallery
  • Testimonials
  • Contact
  • Footer

When you select a section, the available editing options will appear.

Step 3 — Edit headlines and text

Depending on the section, you can edit:

  • main headline,
  • subtitle,
  • description,
  • button text,
  • small helper text,
  • labels or captions.

Write clearly and briefly. Visitors should quickly understand what you offer and what they can do next.

Step 4 — Improve text with the AI Assistant

If you are not sure about the wording, ask the AI Assistant for help.

Examples:

Make this text more professional.

Make the headline shorter and stronger.

Write friendlier copy for the services section.

Make the button clearer.

The Assistant will show you a preview before applying the change.

Step 5 — Change an image

If the section includes an image, you can replace it.

You can usually:

  • upload an image from your computer,
  • choose an image from the Media Library,
  • use an image already uploaded to the website,
  • replace a temporary image with a real business photo.

Step 6 — Choose the right images

Prefer images that:

  • are clear and bright,
  • show the real business or service,
  • match the brand style,
  • look good on mobile,
  • are not too low-resolution,
  • do not make the page feel crowded.

For businesses such as salons, restaurants, clinics, or studios, real photos can greatly improve trust.

Step 7 — Check the preview

After each change, review the result in preview.

Check:

  • if the text fits properly,
  • if the section feels balanced,
  • if the image is not cropped strangely,
  • if the button remains clear,
  • if the change looks good on mobile.

Step 8 — Save

When you are happy with the result, save your changes.

If the website is already published, you may need to publish again for the changes to appear live.
